Job Summary
Designs and develops performance-based learning solutions.
Primary administrator of internal Learning Management System (LMS).
Job Responsibilities
Applies knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design to develop various types of learning content, including classroom, self-study and computer based training.
Designs courses and develops processes for course design to instruct others.
Works collaboratively with management and subject matter experts to understand desired performance, assess learning needs, and develop appropriate training solutions.
Develops and schedules curriculum, courses and classes and manages enrollment.
Conducts post-training evaluations, analyzes results, and updates training content as needed.
Provides quality control and oversight of training records and documentation, builds process for management, and consolidation of records.
Administers LMS with optimal efficiency by designing and managing student groups, job categories, administrator roles, etc.
Optimize LMS by enhancing application functionality including designing and implementing process for content library, CE credits, Learning events, etc.
Implements additional learning functionality of the system.
Takes action to stay abreast of current and evolving learning trends, instructional design methods/techniques and emerging technologies.
Become involved in regional and national training events and discussion boards, stay abreast of trends in training and learning.
Monitors for quality and consistency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration required upon hire OR
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education required upon hire OR
Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources required upon hire OR
Bachelor's degree or higher in Organizational Development required upon hire OR
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field required upon hire
A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
