Description
Responsibilities:
Managing, developing, coaching, and counseling a team of 10-20 employees who are responsible for customer experience and sales support.
Monitoring and verifying performance metrics on a team and individual level through a variety of reports, databases, or manual tracking methods for local and/or temporary agency incentives.
Serving as a partner to the Agency Manager in agency operations and needs.
Creating and executing agency plans to achieve goals and objectives including ongoing monitoring, managing, and coaching team members throughout the plan period.
Collaborating with Indiana Farm Bureau and internal business partners, to resolve conflicts and assist with pending business needs.
Resolving escalated customer service issues and complaints as needed.
Recruiting and hiring team members as needed.
Engaging in continuing education and development programs.
Participating in organizational project teams as assigned as an SME or active decision-maker.
Assisting in vendor relationships for office needs.
Requirements for Success: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
An associate's degree or higher is preferred.
2 years experience in a customer service role at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance or 2 years of management experience preferably within an insurance company.
Completion of 2 full courses toward an approved insurance designation is preferred.
Property & Casualty insurance license.
A Life & Health license is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively within a team and organization.
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to hire, monitor, coach, and measure employee work performance.
Knowledge of business, finance, and conflict resolution is preferred.
