Semi Truck Driver

Duties: - Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers - Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage - Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance Experience: - Minimum of [X] years of commercial driving experience - Experience operating trucks with manual transmissions - Familiarity with tanker operations and handling hazardous materials (if applicable) - Proficiency in operating heavy equipment for loading and unloading purposes - Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations and temperature control systems (if applicable) Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements - Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents - Ability to safely operate various types of trucks in different weather conditions - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with regulations Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
