Madisonville Community College (MCC) is a five-campus institution centrally located along I-69 corridor in beautiful rural Western Kentucky that serves Muhlenberg, Caldwell, Webster, and Crittenden Counties.

Job Duties: • Provides strategic leadership, support, and evaluation to all functions related to the workforce division.
• Serves as Liaison between the college’s regional and community partners, businesses, and industries to enhance the community workforce as needed.
• Serves as Liaison with community partners and business as needed.
• Provides customer service for the department and community.
• Assists in evaluating the effectiveness of workforce programs with industry partners.
• Supervises and coordinates testing for the Assessment Center.
• Coordinates Workforce Solutions campus-based activities.
• Coordinates community education and summer youth college.
• Coordinates all processes associated with academic credit programs in workforce solutions.
• Provides strong commitment to the College and KCTCS mission.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree (business, marketing, administrative management, or related field), and four years related experience, or equivalent.
Master’s Degree Preferred.
• Communication: Possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills • Problem Solving: Problems are usually unique and have not come up before.
Develops new solutions that have not been previously applied and has the discretion to implement them.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Functions as a director of a division or department and typically supervises management personnel and indirectly supervises subordinate staff under this job’s line of authority.
• Oversight and Direction: Receives only broad administrative guidance.
Assignments are in terms of setting objectives within strategic planning goals.
Employee is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing programs, projects, and studies, and sets goals for a major unit, section, or department.
